Fürstenhäusle Meersburg

Meersburg Prince’s Vineyard House

Meersburg, Germany

The Fürstenhäusle (prince’s vineyard house) affords breathtaking views of the old town and Lake Constance, all the way to the Alps. This house amid the vineyards served as famous poetess Annette von Droste-Hülshoff’s creative retreat. To this day, the Biedermeier furnishing, portraits and manuscripts give a vivid account of her life and social milieu. Encounter the poetess and her acquaintances at the various audio and media stations in the visitors’ room.
