Stockach City Museum

Stockach, Germany

Small but significant describes Stockach’s local museum: the two attic floors of the ‘Altes Forstamt’, a historic building dating back to 1706, house the Zizenhausen terracottas and several works of art arrayed between the imposing roof beams. A multimedia station brings the deliberations of the popular Stockach fools’ court to life. ‘Achtung Hochspannung’ (Beware: high voltage), a special exhibition all about electricity running from 14 July to 15 November, includes experiments and discoveries ranging from lightning to the electric motor.
