The Märliumzug in Tägerwilen is one of Eastern Switzerland’s most cherished traditional village events and celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2026. On two event days, elaborately designed fairy-tale floats parade through the village, bringing classic stories such as Snow White, The Frog Prince and Hansel and Gretel to life. Under the anniversary theme “Evolution,” the event combines timeless fairy tales with modern and playful interpretations, creating a unique experience full of creativity, tradition and community spirit for all generations.
