To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the International Lake Constance Fencing Association (IBF) transforms the Lake Constance ferry Kreuzlingen into a floating fencing arena. Fencers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will compete in a unique tournament held in the middle of Lake Constance. Visitors can experience this extraordinary cross-border sporting event on board by prior registration.
Founded in 1926, the International Lake Constance Fencing Association (IBF) has been bringing together fencing clubs from Germany, Austria and Switzerland for 100 years. To mark its centenary, the ferry Kreuzlingen will become a unique competition venue on Lake Constance. The tournament features foil and épée competitions in youth and senior categories and is expected to welcome around 300 athletes and guests. Boarding begins at 9:00 am, the competition starts at 10:00 am, and the event concludes at approximately 6:00 pm. Advance registration is required for spectators.
