Christmas Market by the Lake in Constance
Christmas magic right on Lake Constance: From 26 November to 23 December 2026, the Christmas Market by the Lake in Constance invites visitors to stroll, enjoy and soak up the festive atmosphere. With around 170 beautifully decorated stalls, it is the largest Christmas market on Lake Constance.
Festively decorated stalls, sparkling lights and the winter scenery of Lake Constance create a truly special Christmas atmosphere. Discover carefully selected gift ideas, handmade products and delicious treats – from hearty winter classics to sweet Christmas specialities.
There is also plenty for younger visitors to discover. And if you are not ready to head home after your Christmas shopping, round off the evening with a hot mulled wine, good music and a unique atmosphere right by the lake.
Whether you are visiting with family, friends or colleagues, or simply stopping by for a spontaneous mulled wine, the Christmas Market by the Lake is the perfect place to enjoy the Advent season and get into the Christmas spirit together.

A comfortable journey awaits you directly at Constance railroad station: Trains run every half hour from all directions (e.g. from Schaffhausen/Engen - Singen, Zurich - Weinfelden, St.Gallen - Kreuzlingen or Stein am Rhein - Kreuzlingen). Alternatively, you can travel in comfort with the hourly Regiobus or ferry connections, also via Meersburg.
