The summer festival held annually in July and August in Bregenz is an internationally renowned opera and music festival. The main attraction on the occasion of the 80th anniversary is the spectacular opera production La traviata on the lake stage over Lake Constance, accompanied by additional concerts, theatre and musical productions in the city.
The main venue of the Bregenz Festival is the world-famous lake stage in Bregenz with its unique view over Lake Constance. The programme is complemented by concerts at the Festspielhaus, opera and music theatre performances at the Theater am Kornmarkt, as well as additional cultural highlights throughout the city. For selected performances, combined travel options are also available, for example by boat or via shuttle services to the festival.
