From Red to White

Lake Constance Wine Tour

The Lake Constance region is internationally known for its wine variety. The region has been cultivating diverse grape varieties for more than 2000 years. The grape varieties Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Noir play a special role here. The exciting thing about our regional wines is that while they grow under the same climatic conditions as other grapes, they express their own unique flavors due to the different soils and the artistry of Lake Constance winemakers. The tour from red to white begins with a wine tasting at the Osterfingen Bergtrotte. A special experience then follows in the Florin winery, where the wine tasting includes regional cheese and chocolate. The tour then leads to the Ittingen Charterhouse where visitors discover the history of wine pressing. After that, go on a “Weinfelden” wine route hike through beautiful vineyards. The journey continues with a visit to Meersburg, where you visit the vineum bodensee, an interactive wine museum, as well as the Meersburg State Vineyard. The next stop is the Salem Monastery and Castle before you head to Lindau to finish your tour with a wine tasting.
