Germany’s longest double chairlift (2,220 m) carries passengers from 720 m to 1,452 m. There is a restaurant at mid-station, and a large children’s playground. The summit mountain lodge with sun terrace is a perfect place to enjoy snacks and refreshments. Enjoy the magnificent views over the Allgäu, Lechtal and Swiss Alps. The Mittag is the starting point for the well-known “Nagelfluh-Gratwanderung” hiking tour. Another place worth visiting is the Mountain Dairy Oberberg to see how cheese is made.
