The Lake Constance rack railway goes from Rorschach to the attractive Biedermeier village of Heiden. Enjoy the pleasant rail journey for stunning views over Lake Constance, especially during the summer months, in the open summer coach (May–September in good weather). In Heiden, we recommend the Henry Dunant Museum (Red Cross founder) or a climb up the church tower. Heiden is also the starting point for the “Witzwanderweg” to Walzenhausen.
