Expedition underwater world

At SEA LIFE Constance, plunge into the fascinating world of fresh and salt water fish without getting your feet wet. Follow the course of the Rhine from the Alpine glaciers to Lake Constance and on to the port of Rotterdam where it finally flows into the North Sea. Walk through an eight-metre-long acrylic tunnel representing the Red Sea biosphere and enjoy breathtaking encounters with magnificent sea dwellers up close.

Home to fascinating animals such as piranhas, poison dart frogs and basilisks, the new “Rainforest” theme area is guaranteed to fill you with awe! Bitterly cold temperatures and glittering ice floes await you at the end of your visit: set out on an adventurous expedition to Antarctica and meet our 10 funny jackass penguins.

A visit to Sea Life Constance is an eventful and informative excursion whatever the weather, ideal for families, groups and classes, nature lovers and inquisitive people – in short for kids and adults, whatever their Age.

Tip:

SEA LIFE Constance also houses the Lake Constance Nature Museum. Here, you can learn more about the landscape of the Lake Constance area, its rich and varied flora and fauna and the ecological relationships.
