The dream of flight comes true! This is truly a journey through 100 years of aerospace history. Gigantic flying boats, passenger planes of bygone times and exciting exhibits related to space flight transform any visit to the Dornier Museum Friedrichshafen into a unique experience. Located right next to the airport, the largest museum of technology on Lake Constance is home to a world of experience spread over more than 6,000 square meters. Some 400 exhibits, numerous original aircraft and space flight exhibits bring the pioneering spirit of the past century to life.
There is also a colourful children and family programme throughout the holidays: locals and visitors alike step into a world of discovery, which includes children’s guided tours and handicraft activities. Why not take a pedal plane for a spin on the race track? Or soar above Lake Constance in a flight simulator? Technology and history en- thusiasts, families and aviation fans are very welcome at the Dornier Museum Friedrichshafen!
