The Middle Ages lives in the heart of Constance. The former butchers’ guild house of 1454 contains unique and faithfully preserved halls, rooms and works of art from the late Middle Ages. The permanent exhibition contains fascinating works of Lake Constance art and cultural history with newer themes dealing with regional history. The inner courtyard and historical museum cafeteria encourage visitors to relax in our historic ambiance.
