The Fischingen Monastery was founded in 1134 by the Bishop of Constance in Einsiedeln along the Way of St. James. The monastery is a baroque jewel within the beautiful landscape at the foot of the Hörnli Mountain. We brew authentic monastery beers with up to 15% alcohol in our small, well-equipped brewery. The Grand Crus ripen for months in oak barrels in our 1734 barrique cellar before bottling where they last for years stored in champagne bottles. Our craft beer collection with "Waldbier" and "India Pale Ale" quenches the thirst of pilgrims, travelers and hikers. Abbey beers are a perfect complement to a fine meal or alone as an aperitif.
