A rendezvous with art and culture, the museum belongs to the largest and most diverse universal museum in Switzerland. Everything under one roof in the heart of old Schaffhausen in the former Allerheiligen Monastery: archaeology, history, art and nature. A journey through time leads from the Stone Age through the monastery’s Golden Age to city and industrial history. The significant art collection comprises works from Cranach, Hodler, Vallotton, Otto Dix und Adolf Dietrich. A cosy museum café invites guests to linger and relax.
