City museum Stockach close to Lake Constance

Stockach City Museum

Stockach, Germany

Small is beautiful - what better way to describe the Stockach City Museum? On the first and second attic storey of the former forestry office, the history of Stockach and the “Zizenhausener terracottas” figurines are grouped into theme islands.

In the summer of 2017, only the “Joan Miró to Otto Dix” exhibition will be on show, comprising about 80 works from the Heinrich Wagner art collection. Valuable individual pieces by artists such as Marc Chagall, Willi Baumeister, Oskar Kokoschka, Max Ackermann and Carl Walter Liner will also be exhibited alongside works by regional artists.
