Säntis lays rightful claim to being one of the most beautiful natural settings in Europe. You can enjoy the experience all year round and in all weather, as the Aerial tramway is always in service. At the summit visitors are greeted by observations halls, sun terraces, mountain trails, two panoramic restaurants, the Appenzeller event hall and a shop.
There is also plenty to discover on the Schwägalp: With its theme trails, the Schwägalp/Säntis NaturErlebnispark leads to all attractions.
Our new “Säntis – das Hotel” can be found at the valley station, offering generous gastronomy, the Passhöhe in, the geological stone park and an extensive network of hiking trails.
A delicious buffet breakfast is served every day and you can discover lots more at www.saentisbahn.ch – including the current events calendar.
On Säntis and Schwägalp we lay the clouds at your feet – and much more too. Here, surrounded by storybook mountain landscapes amidst some of Europe’s most beautiful natural scenery, there’s a multitude of different things to see and do.
There’s always plenty happening on Mount Säntis and the Schwägalp: On every full moon evening, you can enjoy a romantic evening trip including a buffet at the summit while sunset trips are organised in July and August.
