Visitors to the island can obtain information in the Reichenau Museum on the outstanding significance­ of­ Reichenau’s­ cultural­ history.­ Together with the three romanesque churches, the four museum buildings form an information network on the “Monastic Island of Reichenau” World Heritage Site.

Experience the Reichenau museum barrier-free
Visitors with reduced mobility can visit the museum with restrictions. While the old building (civil history) is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, the new building (monastery history) can easily be visited with a wheelchair.
