A school, the church and the shops, a forge, a weaver’s house and a farm – a typical little village of our ancestors from centuries past can be found in the open-air museum in Neuhausen ob Eck. Numerous animals live in the museum while daily craftwork demonstrations, lovingly designed cottage gardens and exhibitions give visitors every reason to stay and observe. More than 50 events, such as the coachman’s day, the craftsman’s day or the fairy-tale day are particularly lively.
