Germany’s longest double chairlift (2,220 m) carries passengers from an altitude of 720 m to 1,452 m. The valley station is located on the southern out- skirts of Immenstadt. At the middle station, there is a restaurant and a large children’s playground. Enjoy the magnificent views over the Allgäu, Lechtal and Swiss Alps. The Mittag is the starting point for the well-known “Nagelfluh-Gratwanderung” hiking tour. Another place worth visiting is the Mountain Dairy Oberberg to see how cheese is made.
