Germany’s­ longest­ double­ chairlift­ (2,220 m) carries passengers from an altitude of 720 m to 1,452 m. The valley station is located on the southern out- skirts of Immenstadt. At the middle station, there is a restaurant and a large children’s playground. Enjoy the magnificent­ views ­over­ the ­Allgäu, ­Lechtal­ and­ Swiss Alps. The Mittag is the starting point for the well-known “Nagelfluh-Gratwanderung” hiking tour. Another place worth visiting is the Mountain Dairy Oberberg to see how cheese is made.

Experience the Mittag cableway barrier-free
Visitors with limited mobility can use the Mittag cableway without restrictions. Barrier-free access and entrances and exits at the same level make it easy to get on and off the train. Disabled parking spaces are available free of charge at the valley station of the mountain railway.
