The art gallery of the Sigmaringen region is housed on two floors of the southern wing of Meßkirch Palace. A permanent exhibition on the ground floor shows works of regional art from the late Middle Ages to the present day, with the collection focussing on the works of the cubist and pioneer of modern woodcuts Gottfried Graf (1881– 1938), a native of Mengen, the sculptor Anton Hiller (1893–1985), who grew up in Sigmaringendorf and the painter Albert Birkle 1900-1986) who was linked to Sigmaringen.
