St. Georg, former collegiate church. Built at the end of the 9th century. Murals in the nave from 1000 AD portraying eight miracles of Jesus. Cathedral of St. Maria and Markus, former monastery church of the Benedictine abbey on Reichenau. First monastery church built on this spot around 724. St. Peter and Paul, former collegiate church. Donated and consecrated in 799 by by the blessed Bishop Egino of Verona (died 802). Demolished in about 1080 after renovation work. Followed by new construction of the existing church by 1134 and painting of the apse. 1750/60 rococo remodelling.
