The Lake Constance circular hiking trail is one of the best-known long-distance footpaths in Baden-Württemberg. It passes through three countries in eleven stages, covering some 270 km (about 170 miles). This section takes you around the Untersee, the most attractive part of Lake Constance. The 4-day hike leaves from Radolfzell. You walk over the shady Bodanrück, passing moors and small lakes, to Constance. From here, you cross the border to Switzerland. The trail continues along the Swiss shore through romantic fishing villages to Stein am Rhein - the official end of Lake Constance. Here, you change countries once again, crossing the artistic Höri peninsula before heading along the lake shore back to the starting point in Radolfzell.
